Baton Rouge Community College Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit corporation organized April 16, 1998, existing and operating for the purpose of securing recurring philanthropic support to advance, promote, and otherwise benefit the mission of Baton Rouge Community College and students.

The Foundation is governed by a board of trustees and is funded entirely with private resources. Our vision is to exemplify the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and transparency.

BRCC Breaks Ground on New Construction Lab on Mid City Campus

Baton Rouge Community College officially broke ground Wednesday on the Capital City Construction Lab that will serve as a hands-on, open-air student learning environment designed to replicate real-world construction conditions.
 
BRCC and Baton Rouge Community College Foundation received an $850,000 Gable Grant from the Lowe’s Foundation to fund construction and establish the BRCC Plumbing Program - one of the programs that will utilize this facility upon completion.
 
The Capital City Construction Lab will provide BRCC students with a learning space to gain practical skills in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing, ensuring BRCC’s commitment to the Lowe’s Foundation national goal of preparing 50,000 people for skilled trades careers by 2028.

BRCC Transforms Campus with Opening of Nursing & Allied Health Building

Baton Rouge Community College celebrated the opening of its new $35 million nursing and allied health facility today with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on the Mid City Campus.

The Baton Rouge Community College|Our Lady of the Lake Health Nursing & Allied Health Building is nearly 93,000 square feet, and for the first time, brings together under one roof all the programs in BRCC’s Division of Nursing & Allied Health. This includes the nursing, practical nursing, sonography, surgical technology, phlebotomy and medical assistant programs.

Thomason Foundation Donates $250,000 to BRCC !

The Allen and Jeannette Guillory Thomason Foundation has contributed $250,000 to Baton Rouge Community College to create endowed scholarships in Construction and Nursing & Allied Health at BRCC. 

The Allen and Jeannette Guillory Thomason Foundation Endowed Scholarship in Construction Crafts will support full-time BRCC students in 4- or 5-star construction craft fields within the Construction Management Department. The Allen and Jeannette Guillory Thomason Foundation Endowed Scholarship in Nursing & Allied Health will support full-time BRCC students in the Nursing & Allied Health fields.
