The Program for Successful Employment (PSE) at Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) is a two- year, four semester vocational training program for adults, ages 18-28 with autism and/or other intellectual disabilities. The program combines academic and job skills training with externship opportunities with regional businesses.
PSE is a unique program in Baton Rouge unlike any others offered in Louisiana. We accept only 12 students per semester to provide them with enhanced one on one support from highly trained professionals. After two semesters of life skills training that encourages independent living, we focus on job placement in the local community with paid internships. Ultimately, our goal is lifelong employment.
Your generous gift will positively impact the current PSE program and students, as well as, preserving opportunities for the future of PSE. Donations are tax-deductible. For more information about PSE please email LaKiesha London, Director, at pse@mybrcc.edu.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and continued support of the PSE program!
PSE has worked with Our Lake of the Lake, Vivid Ink and Graphics, Bet R Grocery, Reeves Supermarket, DOTD, Freeman Images, Our Hope Thrift Store, and Louisiana Rehabilitation Services (LRS).
